Before joining the Dr. Racheal Wairimu Foundation’s Financial Modeling Training, Nyambura, a young entrepreneur from, was running a small poultry business without any clear plan or financial structure. Although his business had potential, he struggled with pricing, budgeting, and managing cash flow. “I was working hard, but I couldn’t see where the money was going. I was always short by month-end,” he shared.
Through the training, Nyambura learned how to create budgets, forecast sales, manage expenses, and analyze the financial health of his business using simple, practical tools. After applying what he learned, he restructured his business model, reduced waste, and identified new growth opportunities. Within six months, his income had increased significantly, and he hired two assistants.
“Financial modeling opened my eyes. I now understand my numbers, and that has changed everything. I no longer guess—I plan,” Nyambura says proudly.
